Isn't his martial art all about hitting the proper pressure points so that organs shut down/and/or people explode?
'cause dead guys in Bleach have different organs. Spiritual organs.

Yeah but in his defense, that Mayuri was a bit of a body horror freak who had replaced his organs. Ringi and Uryu were soundly beaten to near death.
