Homeland Season 2
Man, I loved this show last year. One of the most exciting new shows I've seen in years and also tense as hell. The season finale had me on the edge of my seat. If you have no idea what it's about, it's about a bipolar CIA agent named Carrie Matheson (Claire Danes) who is convinced a returning POW named Nicholas Brody (Damian Lews) has been "turned" by a terrorist leader named Abu Nazir into a sleeper agent. Her mentor, Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) is skeptical, so Carrie goes ahead with installing a secret, illegal camera system in his house to watch his every move. It goes about as well as you might imagine, but I don't want to spoil all the twists and turns. Suffice it to say, the truth is more complex than anyone might imagine. I highly recommend watching the first season. You won't regret it. The new season begins September 30th. |

I would second the high recommendation, but with the caveat to skip over the opening sequence as fast as possible whenever it comes up. The opening is somehow exactly as bad as Homeland itself is great.
If you don't have the ability to skip the introduction, at least try to mitigate it by muting your tv and watching the Rubicon opening.
