Good evening, I am a lizardwoman from the dawn of time and this is my wife.
So th ebest thing about Christmas is Doctor Who is back. And this was the best christmas special since probably the reboot. Wasn't a one off like last years, part of continuity, brand new cool class-warrior companion who hasn't been ruined by Moffat's inability to write women yet, the Sontaran battle-nurse is back (how did that happen) and Richard E Grant going crazy.
And quite a few sly attacks on the Cameron Government which was ace. Is the Great Intelligence really just Oswin- will she just have a new form every episode- maybe dying every time. That would take balls. This would explain why her death actually stopped it. Is she the ghost that haunts Europe? Why doesn't the doctor just get whomever brought the Sontaran back to life to bring her back? Captain Jack? |

You know, I still can't decide if I actually like the 11th Doctor or not. You'd think after 2 1/2 seasons I'd have an opinion, but nope! Oh well, new companion seems cool, and is hawt, so that's all that matters really.
Although whatever happened to that whole "Silence will fall" plotline from ages ago? Have they just abandoned that or what?

I like 11 far more than 10 who was just all rage rage rage all the time. Smith is more fun and exciting.
He was totally whistling "Silent Night" at one point- Or is it "Silence Night". I don't know whether that one is still going. More importantly who blew up the tardis back in the pandorica bit. I reckon Moffat's forgotten about all this shit. |

Also apparentely most of the script was written by Douglas Adams and has sat in a desk in the BBC for 30 years.

I think you're forgetting the best part, that they finally ditched the ~wacky steampunk bullshit console~ for a camp looking disco console.

Disco is dead. It's been dead for ages. It's time to move on.
