So will this be season 2, or a movie? Given the lack of informative text and my ineptitude at understanding Japanese, all I know is that it will be back this coming year.

It'll be a movie.
Based on the inclusion of an audio clip from the first ep of Mawaru, I'm guessing it'll be a DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT retelling of the series, the same way the Utena movie was for the Utena series.
