So we are clear

Anyone remember The Aristocats
So they finally popped in a new movie where I work, and it was The Aristocats. Was surprised to find alot of people not only remember it, but were fond of the movie. Even found a co-worker spending his lunch watching it. Now I barely remember it, was too young the last time I saw it, but I was wondering who else has fond memories of this movie

Everybody wants to be a cat.
Because a cats the only cat, who knows where it's at. Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat, 'cause everything else is obsolete. ... EVERYBODY! EVERYBODY! EVERYBODY! WANTS TO BE A CAT!

When I was little, I watched this a lot, because Disney and Cute Animals made my 5-year-old heart swell with glee. (Though 101 Dalmatians had dogs and that obviously made it the far more popular choice.) Though, even as a wee one, I thought the pace was kind of plodding and low-tension beyond the cute fuzzies. I haven't watched it in a good decade or so, so I might be remembering wrong.

Dogs are better than cats, but the Aristocats was way more interesting than 101 Dalmatians.

In college one of our preferred drinking games was Aristocats.
The only rule was that you had to drink every time a cat did something like a human. I don't remember much about the Aristocats.

Archer and Armstrong vs. the World

This and every other "2nd tier" Disney movie ever is now on Netflix instant.
"1st Tier" is strangely absent (you know, Aladdin, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Robin Hood, etc.) but if you want to watch The Aristocats, Fox and the Hound, Pocahontas, etc. they are on there now. At least two dozen I'd say. |

I'd offer to help you remember, but I might end up suckered into the game myself.
