THIEF 4 FUCK SHIT WHHAAAGGHH
Whoo!
So an update with one of my three favorite games in MGS, the Legacy of Kain series is totes ended, and THIEF 4 WHOO! So yeah, new dev team, can't really expect the same old Thief, most likely going to be built like Dishonored or around there. Looks totally better than that The Last Of Us game. I am somewhat concerned by Garrets sudden ability to flip about like a ninja, and the general actiony pace of the trailer.Theif was always about being slow and cautious, not running about like a loon hacking people up and performing acrobatics. I swear if I can't ghost run this game then I will be very annoyed.
I'll wait until there's some actual game footage first before passing judgement, but considering how most games tend to run stealth these days I'm not holding my breath on this one.

They HAVE to take what Dishonored brought to the table into account in their own development or look like fools. Like it or not what the competitors do with similar concepts (in the case of Dishonored, VERY similar) has to be taken into account or you'll be left behind.
As for Garret hacking people to death, much like Dishonored, I assume it will be one possibility for gameplay, whereas you can also stealth if you want to. I played a pretty stealthy play through of Dishonored but it was still fun to have the option of murdering everyone. One thing I found appealing about Thief 1 and 2 (haven't really played Deadly Shadows, it had too much slow down on my computer) is that it had a fairly simple array of tools at your disposal. So that could be one difference from Dishonored where there were a lot of weapons I only used once in a great while. Last edited by Magus; 04-11-2013 at 09:39 AM. |

I looks forward to it, even though I am not a very good sneaky person. I am a very very good person at looting and pillaging around unconcious, blackjacked people, so I wants it.
And I want to know how my favorite brain damaged guard is doing! I hope he's still going to make an appearance.

Not at all related to a certain Tri-Star Night that we know and love.
