The thing I'm going to plug? The Civil Wars:

The band is on hiatus because the two members - Joy Williams and and John Paul White - have cited "differences in ambition," but they've released about three albums, and they're all wonderful. So, um... buy them. Because... wonderful. And they're like, less than $11 on iTunes.
