Pixeling in three easy steps
Nothing fancy, just something i threw together in about 30 minutes.
Its best to draw up some ideas on paper to save time and frustration. Its what I do when pixeling. I. draw up the line art. (this is best done with circle and rectacular tool to get the original shape. Those shapes are altered to match idea with pencil tool and/or line tool). II. Fill in with base colors until you get the right colors you want. Change black lines to darker base colors to give an overall softer more natural look. Black lines aren't really needed 'cause they make the picture look too stale (for lack of a better word) III. Add shadows, anti-aliasing, little character details (note: i didn't anti-alias the legs and jagged edges on this. I forgot) |
