"Always Late To The Party!" or "What Prehistoric Gems Have You Dug Up?"

I want to show you something:

That's in front of my teevee. That's about one hundred or so DVDs - with more behind them - that I own but haven't seen. (You can see ET on top of one of those piles, I've seen only part of that.) I have a problem. I like to own movies, I like to have books... doesn't mean I've watched or read them. I won Rocky - never seen it. Shawshank Redemption? Nuh-uh. The Great Dictator? I'll get around to it. I started watching Sherlock and Doctor Who years after they were a thing!

I'm the same way with other stuff. You see, when I was a tater-tot, (I don't know why I'm going all southern on all of y'all.) my next door neighbors... wait. Farming community. Next door neighbors were about fifteen kilometers away.

My next door neighbors had Sega Genises' and Super Nintendos. I played both - but the first system I owned was a GBA SP.

I played games before that - Treehouse, Scorched Earth, Third Courier... When I was older, my brother showed me emulators and roms. I played Zelda, Illusion of Gaia, Secret Of Mana 3... about ten years after those games came out. My favorite games - Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill 2, Thief 2, Legacy of Kain: Defiance - I played those years after they all came out.

Well, tonight I picked up Frozen.

And Princess and the Frog and Maleficent. But you don't care about those because Frozen is the movie of the decade. And I haven't seen it until tonight.
