FURY. ROAD.
Every person in America should immediately disperse from their homes and see
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD the greatest cinematic achievement of the 21st century. Why are you still reading this? You could be seeing this movie! And don't think about sleeping later--see it again! What, are you still here? Need I remind you that the guitar is a flamethrower?! I'll just wait here 'til you get back. ... WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS GO SEE MAD MAX: FURY ROAD I'm not saying my face was literally melted off by this film...but not it actually literally was and I have to now get plastic surgery after watching MAD MAX: FURY ROAD You know what movie is better than this one? None. It's like, how much more awesome could this movie be? And the answer is none. None more awesome. Now if you'll excuse me I might go see MAD MAX: FURY ROAD again.

See this movie when you are ready to be done for the day because it is fucking exhausting. It is really intense in every way it can possibly be and I might have to see it a few times to catch EVERYTHING I missed the first time.

It amuses me that there are people complaining about Max Rockatansky aka mad max aka the the road warrior aka the raggedy man aka the man with no name, not being much of a talker. That's kinda Max's thing. He's not a talker, he's a doer. He's content to let others flap their gums while he's running shit over or making head jelly with his sawed off.
He's the kicker of Wasteland ass. |

According to interviews, that rig was functional. Miller is apparently really particular about props being as functional as possible.

So much of the movie was clearly done with real vehicles and not CGI. So good.

Yeah, they did a lot of comics for other characters, now if they can do The Doof all will be perfect.

It would certainly be interesting, and no shortage of amusement, if backstory was given on more groups/characters in previous Mad Max movies. Try spinning a yarn around the Gayboy Berserkers and Smegma Crazies that served under Lord Humungus and how they earned those names.
As for the music, I thought it had a familiar feel to it. No real surprise that Junkie XL did the soundtrack, hard to mistake dat percussion. Last edited by Grandmaster_Skweeb; 05-20-2015 at 09:50 PM. |
