Alright first RP. Where to start? Deep breath...

Okay. Story first:

Year: 1503

City: Fernar, a fairly large city. Devided into factions.

There are many Gods that rule the land, each possesing its own power. Everybody in the city believe in/support one or another. Some are lucky enough to have been recieved their respective gods blessing and gain magic powers corresponding with their god, others strive to be blessed, others just don't care. All have one thing in common: to end the war between the gods. It has been going on for hundreds of years, turning Fernar into a very dangerous place to live. Supporters of the various gods fighting against each other. All except for the Marlag. They try to keep this war under control as best they can. They break up battles and are hated by all the other factions.

Races:

Humans:
Humans are equally rounded in all fields. They live to be about 80. They can believe in any diety except for Tramph and Kel Nu'ur.

Elves:
Elves specialize at magic and ranged combat. Live to be about 750. They are more likely to be blessed than any other race. Believe in: Rowt, Meri'ik, Gla'en, Kel Nu'ur.

Gorbinwitz:
Gorbonwitz were my own idea. They live to be about 20 years old and 5 feet tall. They posses the ear, feet and tail of a gerbil (yes, really). They are very rarely blessed and frowned upon by elves and humans. They look like animals and are often treated as such. Most end up thieves. Believe in: Arnahk, Enrit, Tramph, Aetherion.

Weapons: Throwing kinfes, Katana
Age: 5? (What's the scale of maturity on these guys? Assuming that the mature at a rate compareable to humans 5 would be about twenty. This is the age I'm looking for.)
Blessed?: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.
History: A young master theif who has less intrest in little things like pick-pocketing people (which is not to say he dosn't do it) but more intrest in elaborate heists for big payoffs. Cares little for the gods and thinks the fighting is pointless. Secretly wishs the Marlag would give the factions a swift kick in the butt. does not vocalize this point of view often.

Race: Gorbinwitz
Magic Power: Lightning, but only when he's really angry.
Weapon: Dagger, Massively huge gerbil feet.
Age: 7 (1 human year = 4 gorbonwitz years. 'Bout 28. Joseph, 5 should do.)
Blessed?: Sorta. Only when he's very angry.
History: Leader of the Marlag. Tries to avoid violence. He hates killing people. Has been tortured 4 times, accidentaly killed his oldest brother followed by an elf named Darvon. Wants the war to end so that people will stop being killed so frequently. Only kills when enraged. He used to work in a Thief Guild in a city called Noham. Only one person knows why he left Noham: An elf by the name of Vars Kaslerr.
Class: Thief
Physical Description: Kardin has a very stern, not to mention angry face. Noone in Fernar has ever seen him smile, laugh, or even grin. He has red hair, and a short goatee. His eyes are olive green. He wears a brown cloak over a brown shirt and pants. His tale is long and slender. His feet are bare, seeing as they are two feet long and padded.

EDIT: Stover, there is no such thing as "luck". There is only chaos.

Oh why must it be played in 1503? Such a boring era. Why not for instance 1743. And besides that, is it based on our worlds 16 century or a fantasy world 16. century.

Magic Power: Can control flow of time around her casually, but usually doesn't use her powers much. They wear her out and thus she uses them in extreme cases for instance when she starts pouring boiling water on herself.
Weapon: (if I may) cooking utensils including bread knifes, pans and pots.
Age: 178
Blessed: yes
History: Born in 1325 to an ordinary family of Eleven merchants, who lived in the city of Fernar. She enjoyed a nice childhood, but never made more then few friends at a time. At 1340 she got herself the unusual luck of being able to learn art. She used it and studied art until 1384, when she decided to get herself a house and start living alone. Her portraits were one of the best of her era, since elves rarely deal with art and she had studied it for 44 years. She sold portraits and lived a fairly easy life. In 1426 3rd of May she suddenly started thinking on divinities and eventually took to believing Rowt. From that day on she thought about religion (not actually praying, but believing) everyday and on the 26 of August 1432 she noticed she could control time. (It happened when she was carrying a pot of boiling water across the hall and tripped. She slowed time and could catch the pot before it fell.) Her belief is not too strong but has been constant. In 1478 she even painted a picture to the temple of Rowt which was praised by all visitors. But since then nothing special has happened to her. Except beginning to write a book on religion she has lived quite a ordinary life. She

Personality: As she hasen't had a lot to worry about, she has grown self centered and selfish. And jet she cares a little about others also. She generally acts friendly and never worries about money.
