OOC: Also known as "NPF Island III - Wherein the play is completed, and free drinks are given out!"

IC: "Well, it looks like the play is almost over. WA seems to be really beating down on that dragon with the bowling ball." Cloud was getting anxious. He was finally about to see Aires again, after so long. "C'mon, finsih up already," Cloud said to himself. He then chuckled to himself as he saw RD entranced by the illusions of the three mages next to him. He pulled out a new materia, an orange one, and quietly put it into his bangle on his wrist. Then, with a wave of his hand, he quietly dispelled the illusions of the three mages. This ought to be good, Cloud thought to himself.

Dragonsbane grinned, waving one hand as well as he countered Cloud's spell. Spellcraft checks, neccessary for plot-foiling and epic level spellcasting...some skills are just that good. he smiled as he thought that, enjoying the petting, "It's a good idea...I'd like to go get something to drink after the play." he looked over at RD, "I do hope you come with me...a bit of company is always appreciated." he added, flashing a dazzling smile at her.

Thaumaturge felt magic being used behind him, and turned just in time to counter Cloud's spell. He turned back to RD as DB finished asking for her company.

"I too would appreciate the company of so lovely a lady," he added. "Perhaps, however, the bar would be too crowded. Why not accompany me for a walk on the beach after the play - the sea by moonlight is truly breathtaking."

"Mmm-hmm..." RD replied a bit dreamily. "Yeah, a drink or three might be nice...bar, beach, whatever, it's all good...but then, we need to get our heads together about this plan. Cloud's counting on us. I think what I said will work, but other input would be greatly appreciated, since we're talking some big magic here. You don't wanna just mess around with that."

"I like it when people think about me...it's very flattering, you know...but, the quest and stuff...what could be more important than that? What do I need, Thaumaturge? Is there something you want to give me?"

that started from this tropic port,

The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the Skipper brave and sure,
five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour,

The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
the Minnow would be lost.

The ship aground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
with SAAM,
the SAAW too.
Slightly Aboveaverage Brit and his wife,
a slightly aboveaverage movie star,
the professor and Slightly Above Average Grape,
here on Nuklearpower Isle.

So this is the tale of our castaways,
there here for a long long time.
They'll have to make the best of things,
it's an uphill climb.
The first mate and his SAAW too
will do their very best,
to make the others comf'terble
in their tropic island nest.
No phone ,no lights, no motor car,
not a single luxury
like Robinson Crusoe
it's primitive as can be.

DB looked amused, raising one elegant eyebrow, "Thaumaturge is correct...but only to an extent, since we do have a friend in trouble. Nonetheless, I already formulated a bit of a plan, and you don't need to worry about it so much, Reality. We have plenty of time to talk....and I'd like to get to know better such an interesting girl." he smiled at her, dark eyes shimmering in the moonlight.
