I use Norton, it can get a little testy at times, but its probably one of the best I've used.

Yeah, Norton, because I don't like McCafe. But you can use McCafe, it's just a personal thing.

If your also having a problem with ad/spyware I'd suggest adaware 6. sometimes ad/spyware is the problem and ppl just arent sure whats causing the problem.

I would say Norton or McAfee. There the ones I have the most experience with, and they're both fairly decent though they suffer most of the problems of big corporate software (though not nearly as bad as Windows). However, they get alot of the pluses that smaller companies that publish free software don't such as huge viri research labs and quick updates. Norton and McAfee is the way to go. Don't use ZoneAlarm's built-in antivirus. Its ok, but not great.

Zonealarm has a bulit in antivirus? That's news to me.
Either try out Norton AntiVirus (NAV) or the McAffee antivirus suite/package/whatever. You could also try out PC-cilin, a newcomer that's getting high marks over at CNET. For the price, it beats out NAV and it comes with a firewall, too. So, Check it out, why don't you? |

I use AVG personally. Mostly because you can download it for free.
I'm cheap. But its worked for me so far, so there you go.

I have Norton, but I hate it. It actually cuased a problem on my computer, shooting its CPU usage up to 100%. I almost wiped the hardrive clean because of it.
