Subscription is standard costs for Sony and most MMOs, 14.99 I believe. However you seriously should not get it, World of Warcraft is infinitely more fun, infinitely cooler. Besides, the whole decay of armor thing that SWG did WoW just did better.

I love Galaxies. Especially since I got the expansion. You cant beat travelling in space from planet to planet. Trust me you should get it. Atleast if your a Star Wars nut like me.

You get one month free, and it's around $13-15 a month after that, cheaper if you buy months in bulk.

If you can stand MMORPG's, then the ground game might be enough for you to handle. The Space Expansion sounds great, but I'm waiting until I get Cable before I even try to get back into Galaxies.

They need to revamp some things on ground. Heavily. And they are, as we speak. Grth, see if they are doing one of the free trials still on the site, if you have the modem and the patience. Then I'd decide if I want it. As for the expansion....The description I've heard of it is, "XWing vs Tie Fighter in a MMORPG!"

actually space is pretty empty (it is space after all). So lag isn't too bad up there. Though in a dog fight your screwed. Oh and on ships that you can walk around in like the yacht and the frigates you can actually walk around in them. You can also have other players be gunners in two seater craft like the y-wing
