The Prisoners of Time Sign-up
A bet you thought I forgot about this didn't you; well I didn't and here it is:
A small group of strangers, I haven't decided the exact number yet, awake to find themselves trapped in a very special maze. It's a maze of only one room but many temporal streams. To navigate this maze they will have to determine whats the past and whats the future, and most importantly avoid the dangers along the way. All they can remember off the pervious day is metting someone new and making it home. After that everything blurrs together into a surreal dream of black clad figures and hushed voices. When they awake they find themselves dressed as they had been right after their return home and alone in a large empty room. All around the room metal doors stand closed. 15 of the doors have a small numbered plate on them. The plates read: 16, 183, 1002, 3277, 7008, 10011, 9010, 3433, 6007, 8009, 6007, 2913, 911, 169, and 15. The rest are undorned and look quite useless. At their feet is another numbered plate; the number displayed depends on the room in which the person is in currently. The numbered doors bear a striking resemblance to the doors normally found on a submarine. In fact the entire room has the feel of a submarine or other large navy vessel. Metal is everywhere, bolts and flanges stick out at odd angles and that sterile metal smell is almost smothering. Here is the sign up: Name: Age: Race: (As in Black, White, Native American) Occupation: Description: Personal Items: (The few personal effects that you could carry on you/in pockets only. Sorry no bags.) Bio: This might move slow as every time someone decides to leave a room I have to describe where they are going. It's also going to take a some thinking to solve the puzzle behind the maze, which will give you a very easy way of finding the exit. Towards the end of the maze all possible paths converge to one so there is little chance you will never see another person. I will PM everybody with which room they are in and I ask that no one share that piece of infromation. (It would make it far to easy to find each other, if it looks like things aren't going good I'll start pushing people together.) Oh and I suggest looking through a door before walking into a room. You can open a door and look through so take adavantage of this gift I have given you for it may save your life. Here is a link to the intial intrest thread which has a bit more info in it. |

IGNORE ME!
|
I am so in.
Name: Alex Simmons Age: 20 Race: White Occupation: Store Clerk for Radio Shack Description: An adult in terms of age but a kid at heart. His hair is often messy, and he has a half full goatee which he refuses to shave in the belief that it will fill in soon enough. He wears black dress jeans with black sneakers and a white shirt with a red vest over it. His name is conveniently printed on the name tag on his vest. He also wears thin rimmed glasses. Personal Items: Swiss army knife (5 inch blade, 3 inch blade, scissors, bottle opener, flat head screwdriver, phillips screwdriver, corkscrew, useless litle scissors and a nail file.), 72 cents in change, empty wallet (except for his ID's and single credit card), and an extra replacement button that came with his dress pants. Bio: Alex is a slacker to the bitter end, he's been working at radio shack since he was 16 and he still hasn't been promoted once. He knows alot about electronics and how to take them apart and and rebuild them incredibly quickly. He's always loved puzzles but hasn't been able to solve his rubix cube since he got it over a decade ago. He's very paranoid and pragmatic about his problems, and does his best to plan his victory before he even makes his first move.

ha ha! behold the temporal shenanigans of a physics major! I hope my sanity remains intact after this ordeal Sith!
Name: Bobby Bastion Age: 22 Race: Hispanic/Caucasian Occupation: Rock musician description: No outfit too flamboyant, no hairstyle taboo, in the pursuit of the cutting edge of rock fashion he's worn everything from a pink velvet blazer to leather chaps (hasn't quite gotten around to the assless variety yet though) At the moment he's wearing a brown leather jacket and a paisle print shirt in yellow, with straight leg jeans and some butterscotch leather dress shoes. and of course, designer sun glasses. (Versace if you must know ) objects: Zippo lighter with "hard rock cafe Yokohama" written on it, dime bag of the finest chronic, and some handcuffs. (You know those groupies can get kinky sometimes!) Money clip with about three thousand dollars in hundreds, a gold plated pen (for autographs!) and a drivers license. Pack of camles, 17 cigarrettes remaining. Cell phone, worn old guitar pick, Comb. Some loose change. Bio: Rock is an attitude, a look, a cliche. Bobby's all of these, despite his desires to the contrary, he was swept up in the heady mixture of raw adoration and unreal luxury. He'd fashioned himself as an intellectual when he started his journey to stardom, but the road will change any man, the drugs will do it faster. He's not down and out, but he's on his way to being something less than what he desired. His original message of rebellion against tradition and wider perspectives lost in a sea of pop infused trash. He's losing his identity to the beast of fame. Grasping at his fading lines of sanity and normalcy, he's made a homecoming to his birthplace, Chicago Illinois. He sees more truth in his aging mothers eyes as he walks through the door than he has in three years, and he realizes his soul is ready for a change, for a return... okie dokie, there is teh bio! Try to be gentle with my fragile psyche Sith! |

The Obfuscated One
|
Name: Dan Thomas
Age: 18 Race: white Occupation: just going into college, the only thing that could fit here is that he's a life scout who only didn't make eagle because nobody helped with his project; he's got all the merit badges, all of them, but he's bad at getting people to help him. Description: 5'11", 140 lbs, scout pants, green t-shirt with nothing written on it, brown shoes, short haircut, brown hair, brown eyes. Personal Items: leatherman, matches, random pieces of paper, some paperclips, a roll of duct tape (on his belt), some pens, wallet with no cash, just travelers checks, various forms of id. Bio: Dan always gave things his all, and so got all of the merit badges pretty quickly, but his people skills sucked and so he never managed to finish his eagle project. haha! I am the only person with a reasonable explanation for having duct tape! watch as everyone else edits their character sheets to include this most wondrous of items!

not to be a whistle blower... *blows whistle*
I'm wondering if Mintaro's character might not be a tad too close to one Ash of Evil dead fame? hmmm??!! Originality goes a long way my friend, I guess thats all I'll say about it then. |

Well he isn't going to be seeing any zombies and no way is there going to be any guns laying around so I think he is safe. The difference in the situation should induce enough of a difference in the way the person acts to make him unique.
