Isn't there a D&D question thread? Well, a mod should probably merge it or something, but here's my answer:
Depends on your definition of "interact with" mostly. Speak to a God? Have lunch with a God? Oppose a God? Kill a God? Those all would require varying levels, I'd say. But usually the party is to be around epic levels when they start messing in God business. (For a rough number, lets go with anywhere from 18th to epic). |

Actually, "epic" is anything above level 20. As Azisien says, though, it depends on what you mean by "interact;" plus there's gods and then there's gods. Fighting a god would require level 30+ at the very least, for example.

A mortal would have almost no chance in combat against a god. Their HP regenerates too fast, they have massive damage reduction, all their hits are critical, and they never miss. They have Mega stats and Uber hit points, and let's not forget about all the spells and Salient Devine abilities. The only reasonable way is to use a very powerful artifact, or magical weapon.

Pfft, some vampires, solar lords, or epic druids should hand gods their asses in a basket.
